What Should a Complete Rental LED Screen Package Include?
A rental LED package needs more than cabinets. Compare a written bill of materials covering image processing, power and signal distribution, support, transport, spares and commissioning.
Start with a named wall configuration
Record the model, indoor or outdoor version, pitch, cabinet count and final dimensions at the top of the quotation. For InnoLux, specify the proposed use of 500 × 500 mm and 500 × 1000 mm cabinets instead of simply requesting a number of square meters. Ask for a drawing and native pixel count so the processing and content plan use the same layout. Extra panels intended as spares should be identified separately from the installed wall.
Describe the signal chain
The package should identify the video processor or controller, receiving-system configuration and required signal cables. Share the actual sources, input formats, cable distances and number of screens you intend to operate. Confirm whether a playback device, scaler, fiber links or network equipment is included or supplied by your own team. The InnoLux source table names Novastar/Colorlight control options; it does not mean every controller from either brand is included or interchangeable.
Define power and support responsibilities
List the proposed power cabling and distribution scope. Have the venue or local electrical professional confirm supply capacity, grounding and protective arrangements. Rigging beams, stacking hardware, ballast or venue connections must be specified for the actual installation. A cabinet lock is not a substitute for a complete structural design. Clarify which components the supplier provides and which the installer or event venue must provide.
Specify spares and transport protection
Discuss spare modules, power supplies, receiving cards, cables and any model-specific service tools. Choose quantities around inventory size, utilization, local repair capability and the time needed to obtain replacement parts. There is no universal spare percentage that fits every rental business. List the flight-case count, cabinet capacity per case, loaded weights and whether sensitive spare components need separate protection.
Agree how the system will be handed over
Request configuration files, cabinet mapping, wiring diagrams, packing lists and agreed operating guidance. Discuss a demonstration using the ordered controller and representative content. Clarify training scope, fault reporting, warranty exclusions and responsibility for freight during repair. Keep these commitments in the written quotation or order documentation; they are not automatically included because a package is described as turnkey.
